───── Ranking System ─────
Ranks are Nemeion's hierarchy system, or "leveling" system, which give your Nemeion additional perks. Each rank has a list of requirements that must be met before a Nemeion may apply for the next. Once these requirements have been met, players must complete two of the provided prompts listed beneath the corresponding rank and submit their Nemeion for judging.

───── Rules & Guidelines ─────
── Activity rolls cannot be re-used for multiple rank updates.
── As your Nemeion ranks up, every rank requires new successful activity rolls. New rolls are based on art/literature post date, not the date that the rolls were received. Art or Literature that was made prior to your Nemeion reaching their current rank does not count towards the next rank.
── This excludes EXP, as All EXP counts regardless of rank.
── All other requirements such as EXP, Feats or Rank Prompts may be done ahead of time.
── All EXP MUST be broken up by rank on a Nemeion's tracker. EXP counts should not drastically exceed the corresponding rank requirement.
── A maximum of three (3) Nemeion may be judged per Rank Prompt.
── Other ARPG creatures are not permitted in Rank Prompts.

── Nemeion must be depicted as a Shaded Full Body (75% visibility) with a Complex Background for each prompt.
── Artwork may be posted in Diptych format if desired (Example)
── Literature Requirements:
── All rules from the Global Literature Rules apply
── Entries must be a minimum of 1,200 Words.
── Nemeion must be on task and mentioned at least three (3) times throughout the story
── Each prompt must be uploaded as separate deviations. Diptych is not accepted for Literature.

New Art/Literature is required for each rank.
1) Your Nemeion must complete their Training (See Training Page for more information)
2) Your Nemeion must earn at least 50 EXP
3) Your Nemeion must achieve five (5) successful activity rolls, mixed and matched as you desire, from the following:
- Adventures
- Colosseum
- Conquests
- Holidays
4) Complete any two of the rank prompts listed below

Complete two prompts listed below and submit them during your Rank Update.
─ Prompt One: Depict your Nemeion spending time in the Colosseum with one of the Caesar's Nemeion. What does the experience look like? Do they go easy on your Nemeion? Does your Nemeion get their butt whooped, or do they lounge and enjoy watching others do all the work?
─ Prompt Two: Depict your Nemeion babysitting a younger Nemeion or cub. Can they handle such an energetic, rambunctious ball of fur or are they left exhausted?
─ Prompt Three: Depict your Nemeion assisting in caring for the sick and elderly of Athens. Are they out retrieving important herbs? Perhaps they are providing mobility support for someone elderly and escorting them through the city?
─ Prompt Four: Depict your Nemeion facing off with a vicious feral Nemeion or wild predator. Are they protecting someone important to them, or were they simply unfortunate enough to stumble across such a problem?
To Become ─ Rank 2: Hastati

1) Achieve Rank One: Velites
3) Your Nemeion must achieve Ten (10) successful activity rolls, mixed and matched as you desire, from the following:
- Adventures
- Colosseum
- Conquests
2) Your Nemeion must earn an additional 100 EXP (Total EXP: 150)
4) Complete any two (2) of the rank prompts listed below

Complete two prompts listed below and submit them during your Rank Update.
─ Prompt One: Depict your Nemeion overcoming an injury. Do they enjoy the downtime, sleeping in the sun and eating all they like, or do they grow restless and irritated at being forced to take it easy?
─ Prompt Two: Depict your Nemeion being guided by a mentor or guardian figure. Is it their handler, a deity they worship, or perhaps an older Nemeion they admire? What do they learn from this figure?
─ Prompt Three: Depict your Nemeion assisting in the escort of a caravan. Does everything go smoothly and according to plan, or do they run into some trouble along the way; a broken wheel, bandits, etc?
─ Prompt Four: Depict your Nemeion meeting someone of importance. Perhaps one of the highly regarded Colosseum Champions? Maybe they even meet the Caesar, himself? How do they handle this interaction?
To Become ─ Rank 3: Legatus
───── Rewards ─────── Gain Four (4) additional breeding slots, bringing the lifetime total up to Fifteen (15) slots── Gain the Legatus Activity Trait (25% chance to find 2,000 Coins as an addendum roll in Adventures, Colosseum Battles or Conquests.) applied to your Nemeion── Gain the Legatus Breeding Trait (When applied to a breeding, this trait increases the chance of mutations appearing on cubs by 15%. If both parents have Legatus Breeding Bonus, this chance is increased to 30%. 1) Achieve Rank Two (2): Hastati
2) Your Nemeion must achieve Ten (10) successful activity rolls of the following:
- A minimum of two (2) Crusades
- A minimum of two (2) Cavings
The remaining Six (6) rolls may be mixed and matched, as you desire, from the following:
- Adventures
- Colosseum
- Conquests (Missives do not apply)
3) Your Nemeion must earn an additional 150 EXP (Total EXP: 300)
4) Complete any two of the prompts listed below

Complete two prompts listed below and submit them during your Rank Update.
─ Prompt One: Depict your Nemeion acting as the mediator for two opponents. Do they succeed in stopping the fight, or are do they only succeed in making the issue a larger problem?
─ Prompt Two: Depict your Nemeion defending against a siege on the city of Athens. Do they focus on being the last line of defense for the Caesar, or are they out on the front line, working to drive the enemy back?
─ Prompt Three: Depict your Nemeion facing their greatest fear. Is it a hydra, a gorgon, or even one of the deities? Could it even be someone they love abandoning them?
─ Prompt Four: Depict your Nemeion trying to escape being trapped. Were they caught by poachers or cornered by bandits? Perhaps they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now have to dig their way out of a cave-in?
To Become ─ Rank 4: Consul

New Art/Literature is required for each rank.
1) Achieve Rank Three (3): Legatus
2) Your Nemeion must achieve Fifteen (15) successful activity rolls of the following:
- Minimum of One (1) of each Adventure (total of Six (6))
i. Beast Hunting
ii. Caving
iii. Crusade
iv. Expedition
v. Fishing
vi. Foraging
- Minimum of Two (2) Champion Battles where your Nemeion is the victor.
- Minimum of Two (2) Conquests without the use of a Missive
- The remaining Five (5) rolls may be mixed and matched, as you desire, from the following:
i. Adventures
ii. Colosseum
iii. Conquests (Missives do not apply)
3) Your Nemeion must earn an additional 200 EXP (Total EXP: 500)
4) Complete any two of the prompts listed below

Complete two prompts listed below and submit them during your Rank Update.
─ Prompt One: Depict your Nemeion helping evacuate a village after a natural disaster. The entire town is under threat of being wiped out; how do they intend to help guide the people and/or other Nemeion to safety?
─ Prompt Two: Depict your Nemeion helping someone, human or Nemeion, who is suffering and is on the brink of death. Do they offer company in their final moments, or do they offer mercy and end the suffering, themselves?
─ Prompt Three: Depict your Nemeion sitting in on a debate. Do they find the bickering entertaining? Perhaps they're bored out of their mind and about to fall asleep on the job?
─ Prompt Four: Depict your Nemeion, with or without a handler, offering tribute to the Caesar and his wife. Do they offer something of value, such as coins or gold, or do they show disdain for the couple and offer junk instead?
To Become ─ Rank 5: Praefect

3) Your Nemeion must have at least One (1) cub that has achieved Rank Three: Legatus
2) Your Nemeion must earn an additional 500 EXP (Total EXP: 1,000)
3) Your Nemeion must achieve at least 5 Feats.
4) Complete any two of the prompts listed below

Complete two prompts listed below and submit them during your Rank Update.
─ Prompt One: Depict your Nemeion meeting one of the gods. Do Dionysus and Vesilios offer a toast to their success? Does Hades look at them simply with less disdain? Perhaps Aphrodite gives them a tender peck to the cheek.
─ Prompt Two: Depict your Nemeion being visited by an ancestor. Is it the ghostly spirit of a lost loved one, or maybe the ghost of a Nemeion from far beyond their known lineage?
─ Prompt Three: Depict your Nemeion facing off against several opponents. Are they successful in standing their ground and fending off their foes, or do they limp away both their body and ego bruised by defeat?
─ Prompt Four: Depict your Nemeion exploring the unknown world. Do they meet other creatures they've never seen before? Perhaps taste a plant that they aren't sure the effects of? (Must not be another ARPG species.)
