Training is a Complex Activity and requires complex artwork or 1,200 words of literature to pass.

No Nemeion is born a master in the art of combat or hunting. Every young lion must learn how to become powerful and strong like their predecessors. Training is an important rite of passage for all Nemeion. Not only does it increase their success in the Colosseum and other activities in the group, but it also unlocks the ability for a Nemeion to breed.

Rules & Guidelines
─ Complete two prompts listed below.
─ All Nemeion depicted must be 75% visible to qualify.
─ Images must be colored, shaded, with a complex background that has at least 3 - 4 unique elements.
─ Alternatively, you can choose to write at least 1200 words of literature, (1500 words if collaborated).
─ Up to three cats are allowed per piece.
─ Prompts are very loose and open to interpretation.
─ Handlers are not required. You may substitute any Caesar lion in the place of an implied human for a prompt.
─ Training must be completed for a Nemeion to breed

───── Prompts ─────
(Complete any two of the following prompts)

Option 1) Draw or write about your lion being handled, played with, or introduced to handling equipment as a young cub. Option 3) Draw or write about your cat being groomed and/or prepped for their debut in the Colosseum. Option 5) Draw or write about your cat on their first long distance journey (for example, to meet their buyer, to find a new home, because they are nomadic... etc) Option 7) Draw or write about your cat's first brush in combat, either outside of the Colosseum or within. Option 9) If your cat has a rival, draw or write about how the animosity was spawned, and/or both cats coming to respect each other. Option 11) Every day is full of new experiences, some of them are ones we may not be prepared for. Whether it's gathering the wrong type of berries or taking on an animal that may be a little big for your current brawn, the important thing is that we learn. Draw or write about your Nemeion experiencing a hard earned life-lesson. Option 13) With age comes responsibilities, and not all of them are the glorified duties that you expected a Nemeion to have to handle. Depict your Lion having to complete a task that they dislike or have a phobia of. Option 15) Not everyone dreams of being a hero, but you do. Depict your cat protecting another animal or Nemeion. Option 17) Every cat needs a hero, and you already have yours. Draw or write about your Nemeion meeting the lion that they’ve always looked up to. Option 19) Your handler has fallen ill and given you strict instructions not to get into any trouble while they rest. An instruction they may (or may not) follow. Draw or write about what your Nemeion does when your handler is out of commission. |
Option 2) The training process is not without snags. Draw or write about your lion acting up, getting loose, defying their handler or attacking someone, or something they shouldn't. Option 4) Draw or write about your lion obtaining their first severe injury, or any scars they may have. Option 6) Draw or write about your cat being outfitted for the first time in armor. Does the armor symbolize protection, duty, or a destiny they never expected to carry? Option 8) Draw or write about your cat observing any battle, outside of the Colosseum or within. Option 10) Draw or write about your cat experiencing their first victory, and how they or their handler(s) react to the success. Option 12) A lion’s first kill is loudly celebrated within Nemeion culture. It is a symbol of strength, honor and glory. Draw or Write about your Lion bringing home their very first hunt. Option 14) There are very few things more important to a Nemeion than culture. Depict your Nemeion, either by drawing or writing, experiencing the culture of Nemeia. They could visit one of Caesar’s Lions, visit the various temples, or even browse through the Bazaar. Option 16) A Lion’s first weapon is a memory that a Nemeion never forgets. Draw or write your cat getting their first weapon, whether purchased brand-new or inheriting an invaluable family heirloom. Option 18) Growing up means being brave, even when you don’t want to be. Show, by drawing or writing, your Nemeion facing their fears and experiencing the outcome of their bravery. |
* Completing ten (10) of the prompts (this can be gradual, there is no time limit,) above will award you with the exclusive Victor's Shield armor set. This can be redeemed on the Feat thread. *

All Nemeion who complete their training will receive the following rewards:
─ Unlocks the Ranking System
─ +5% success rate towards all forms of combat in the Colosseum (Champion Battle included)
─ Grants the ability to breed as well as five (5) breeding slots
─ A special trophy achievement applied to their import
─ 1,000 coins and x1 Randomly Rolled Equipment applied from the following list:
- Axe
- Bow
- Explorer's Map
- Fishing Rod
- Gladiator's Pendant
- Kopis Sword
- Rope
