Season of Love 2025

This event ends March 1, 2025
Every year, Nemeion from all over the world come together to celebrate the Goddess Aphrodite by spreading love and happiness to others. This event symbolizes the birth and renewal of all life, and is available to participate in during the entire month of February. Please take time to read through all of the available events!

♥ EVENT: CUPID'S GIFT EXCHANGE

Every year during the month of February, the Caesar’s wife holds a special gift exchange where citizens have the opportunity to give love to one another. As a reward for giving love during the holiday season, Anthea will gift a single cub from the Caesar's den to each member who participates! The event is open to all members, both new owners and those who already have lions.

GUIDELINES:

♥ If you are uncomfortable making a gift for another player, you may draw or write about one of the Caesar’s lions instead.
♥ Players may only enter once. You may submit multiple gifts in your comment, but only one entry is allowed per person.
♥ ​Collaboration or commissioning your gift is not allowed. Entries must be made by you to qualify.
♥ ​Images must be, at minimum, a flat colored head shot to qualify. More is encouraged, of course! The more effort that is put into making a gift increases the rarity of the cub you receive.
♥ ​Poems must be a minimum of 4 lines, with the exception of a Haiku, which counts as an entry! Poems must be themed around a specific Nemeion lion, and cannot just be random. The more effort that is put into making a gift increases the rarity of the cub you receive.
♥ Entries that seem rushed will be rejected

PROMPT

Show your spirit of love by creating a valentines themed image or poem featuring another player’s Nemeion Lion. If you are uncomfortable making a gift for another player, you may draw or write about one of the Caesar’s lions instead. The more effort that is put into making a gift increases the rarity of the cub you receive.

♥ EVENT: A ROYAL AFFAIR

With the loving season in full bloom, the Caesar’s pride is looking for their own special someone to spend the holiday with. Have you been pining over a particular Nemeion? Perhaps there is a new lion that has caught your eye? If you think you have what it takes, step on up and make your move!

GUIDELINES:

♥ ​Players may only attempt to woo once, and only one pair of Nemeion may be depicted per entry.
♥ ​You must own a lion to participate in the Royal Affair, and your lion must have completed their Training to qualify for this event.
♥ ​Collaborated entries are not allowed. However, you may commission your entry.
♥ ​If a lion successfully woos a Caesar lion, a litter will be rolled. This does not count against your monthly breeding limit or your lion's lifetime slot limit.
♥ Bonuses and other breeding items do not apply to the Royal Affair. 
♥ ​Images must be full body and colored. Backgrounds and shading are optional.
♥ ​Literature entries must be a minimum of 500 words to qualify. Both Nemeion should be mentioned at least 3 times each throughout the piece.

PROMPT

Draw or write about your lion attempting to woo one of the Caesar's lions. Those who are successful have a chance of receiving a breeding to their selected Caesar's Lion, or a Valentine Box with special items inside.

♥ PROMPT: COMPASSION WITH PASSION

Showing compassion and supporting others is essential for creating a kinder, more connected world. When we show empathy and offer help to those in need, we foster a sense of belonging and understanding that strengthens relationships and communities. Acts of kindness, no matter how small, can uplift someone going through a difficult time and inspire a cycle of generosity. Supporting others also improves our own well-being, bringing a sense of fulfillment and purpose. In a world that often feels divided, compassion serves as a bridge, reminding us that we are all interconnected and that a little kindness can make a significant difference. 

GUIDELINES:

♥ ​There is no entry limit. Players may submit prompts all month long.
♥ A maximum of two (2) Nemeion may be rolled per prompt. Additional Nemeion may be added, but only two will be rolled for rewards.
♥ ​Artwork must be full-body, a minimum of 500x500 in size, and must include someone needing comfort. Backgrounds and shading are optional.
♥ ​Literature must be a minimum of 400 words to qualify. Collaborations must be a minimum of 700 words.
♥ ​Please do not submit more than two (2) entries per day. 
♥ ​No bonuses, companions, traits, or equipment apply to this prompt.

♥ TAMING EVENT: WELCOMING NEW LOVE

We have a few lonely hearts here, who are in need of some love and affection! Maybe you can encourage them to follow you home!

GUIDELINES:

♥ Taming entries may also double as an activity entry (which you may submit to our activity folders) as long as you follow the appropriate requirements for both activities and taming.
♥ ​Artwork must be full body, colored, with a moderately complex background (at least 3 unique elements). They must be a minimum of 500 x 500 px to qualify. Both Nemeion must be at least 50% visible.
♥ Alternatively you can write 900 words of literature. Both Nemeion must be mentioned at least 3 times each to qualify. ​Collaborated entries are not allowed. However, you may commission your entry.
♥ ​Everyone may submit a single entry to all available Valentines Ferals, but may only win one lion this round.
♥ ​Winners will be announced on March 1st upon the event's conclusion
