Every year, Nemeion from all over the world come together to celebrate the Goddess Aphrodite by spreading love and happiness to others. This event symbolizes the birth and renewal of all life, and is available to participate in during the entire month of February. Please take time to read through all of the available events!
───── CUPID'S GIFT EXCHANGE ─────
(This is a special activity, and therefore has unique artwork and literature guidelines.)
Every year during the month of February, the Caesar’s wife holds a special gift exchange where citizens have the opportunity to give love to one another. As a reward for giving love during the holiday season, Anthea will gift a single cub from the Caesar's den to each member who participates! The event is open to all members, both new owners and those who already have lions.
PROMPT
Show your spirit of love by creating a valentines themed image or poem featuring another player’s Nemeion Lion. If you are uncomfortable making a gift for another player, you may draw or write about one of the Caesar’s lions instead. The more effort that is put into making a gift increases the rarity of the cub you receive.

⚔️ Literature, in the form of poems, must be a minimum of four lines, and should be specific to the Nemeion in question.

───── How are Entries judged? ─────
All entries are judged based off of an effort score, in addition to a random RNG bonus. These scores determine the cub you receive as a result. Below, we will break down how each bonus affects your final score. At a minimum, all players are guaranteed to return a cub with at least two (2) markings.

(This is a simple activity, and therefore has simple artwork and literature guidelines.)
With the loving season in full bloom, the Caesar’s pride is looking for their own special someone to spend the holiday with. Have you been pining over a particular Nemeion? Perhaps there is a new lion that has caught your eye? If you think you have what it takes, step on up and make your move! This event is rolled with a chance of failure. This chance of failure is based on the quality of the Caesar Lion.
PROMPT
Draw or write about your lion attempting to woo one of the Caesar's lions. Those who are successful will receive a breeding to their selected Caesar's Lion. Failed attempts will return a Valentine Box with special items inside.

❤️ You must own a Nemeion to participate in this event. ❤️ Champion Caesar Lions cannot be wooed. ❤️ Please keep your entries PG-13 in nature and do not depict your Nemeion mounting, mating with, or otherwise engaging in sexual acts with the Caesar Lions.
❤️ No inbreeding is allowed in this event. The Caesar will reject any entrants who are related to his cats in their visible lineage.

❤️ Each player is given three (3) chances to woo a Caesar Lion. You can attempt to woo the same one, or woo different lions. Attempting to woo the same Caesar Lion unsuccessfully will grant players a Persistence Bonus, which is broken down on the second tab "Affair Breakdown" above.
❤️ Build breeding restrictions (such as brute x domestic breedings) are not enforced in this event. Brutes and Domestics may breed freely without the need for supplementary items.
❤️ If a lion successfully woos a Caesar lion, a litter will be rolled. This does not count against your monthly breeding limit or your lion's lifetime slot limit.
❤️ Collaboration or commissioning your gift is not allowed. Entries must be made by you to qualify.
❤️ Bonuses and other breeding items do not apply to the Royal Affair. Additionally, your Nemeion must also be trained to participate in this event.

This event is rolled with a chance of failure. The chance of success is determined by the Caesar Lion's quality. Higher quality Caesar Lions will be much harder to woo, and have a higher chance of failure.

Now that the Season of Love has begun, a bunch of letters from secret admirers have started appearing at everyone's doorstep. The parchments arrive still warm, their edges dusted with rose ash and faint claw-marks pressed into the wax seal. A familiar scent clings to it: sun-warmed fur and crushed petals. As you open the letter, your heartbeat quickens with anticipation. What does your love letter say?

Acts of kindness, no matter how small, can uplift someone going through a difficult time and inspire a cycle of generosity. Supporting others also improves our own well-being, bringing a sense of fulfillment and purpose. In a world that often feels divided, compassion serves as a bridge, reminding us that we are all interconnected and that a little kindness can make a significant difference.

(Please note, if you already own an uploaded Nemeion, you may not use Starters to pad your team for maximum rolls. This is only for new players who are still waiting on their first import.)

Prompt 1: Bond and Affection
As the Season of Love settles across the land, the city of Athens grows quieter. Tensions soften, routines slow, and the presence of another becomes something to be savored rather than guarded. In this season, affection is shown through quiet closeness and shared trust rather than spectacle. Depict your Nemeion sharing an intimate moment of affection with another, be it another Nemeion or someone they love. How do they express care, comfort, or connection during this gentle season? Do they cuddle their loved one beneath a sunset sky, or do they show their love in other ways?
Prompt 2: Quality Courtship
As the Season of Love deepens, Nemeion far and wide take time to prepare themselves with care and intention. Manes are woven with flowers, feathers are tucked carefully into fur, and scents are chosen to linger softly in the air. These adornments are not worn for vanity, but as an offering of effort and desire, meant to catch the eye of a potential partner and speak without words. Depict your Nemeion adorning themselves in preparation for the Season of Love, or perhaps even showing off their new look to their potential love interest. Who are they dressing for, and what do their chosen decorations reveal about their feelings or hopes?
Prompt 3: Unrequited Love
The Season of Love stirs memories as much as it inspires new bonds. For some Nemeion, the season brings longing, regret, or emotions that cannot be returned or resolved. Not all affection finds a place to rest. Depict your Nemeion experiencing rejection, confronting feelings of unreturned affection, lingering attachment, or a bond that has been altered by time or circumstance. Do they withdraw quietly, mask their disappointment, or find strength in acceptance? How do they cope with these uncomfortable feelings?
Prompt 4: Kissing Booth
As the Season of Love unfolds, a small pavilion is raised near the gathering grounds, adorned with ribbons, flowers, and softly glowing lanterns. With amused patience and knowing eyes, the presiding Nemeion invites you to step forward, offering gentle encouragement or playful challenge in equal measure. This booth is a place for bravery and curiosity, where a single kiss may carry meaning, mischief, or nothing more than the warmth of the moment. Depict your Nemeion approaching or interacting with the Kissing Booth and its attendant. Do they offer or receive a kiss, hesitate under their watchful gaze, or choose to observe instead. What emotions or intentions guide their decision? (Your Nemeion may also act as the booth attendant and can return rewards).
Prompt 5: Love Letters and Tokens
Throughout the Season of Love, endearing messages are usually a popular means of admitting one's love for another. Letters are tucked beneath stones, bound to charms, or pressed into the hands of trusted messengers. Some carry affection long held in silence, others offer apology, gratitude, or hope for something more. Each message is a small act of courage, leaving the sender exposed to whatever response may follow. Depict your Nemeion composing, sending, delivering, or receiving a love letter or token of affection. What feelings are entrusted to the message, and how does your Nemeion respond when those words are revealed?
