Manicae
Manicae is a color-point marking that creates splashes of color on the face, legs, and tail of a nemeion. This marking mimics points found in dogs like Dobermans, Rottweilers, and Australian Shepherds. Unlike most markings, which have open color choice, Manicae has predetermined swatches. This marking can also present itself multiple times on a genotype, allowing for a unique layering combination.
Knuckle Marks
Optionally, Manicae can also create black spots or open holes in the toes, which is known as Knuckle Marks. These marks are similar to holes found in Rottweiler points, allowing the base coat to peek through. You can view the example dwarf at the top of the page to see Knuckle Marks in practice.
Rule: This Marking may be present anywhere within the orange range provided above. Anything in grey is an illegal range.
