Maculosa

Maculosa is a marking that will cause rosette markings all across the coat. The rosettes must be darker than the coat, but darker coloration within the rings is optional. If included, the coloration inside the rings may be lighter or darker than the coat, but lighter than the outer rings, similar to leopard spots. The spots may be rather large or tiny in size. This marking is generally hard-edged, and there is no maximum range for Maculosa; it may cover the entire cat, as long as the base coat color can be distinguished.

Examples

Rule: If you decide to include a color inside the maculosa spots, the chosen color must be lighter than the spot above it (as depicted on the brute and dwarf image).
