The group will not be held responsible for failure to have read the rules. By participating in the game and clicking the join button, you agree that you have read and will adhere by the policy and rules outlined in this journal.
───── General Rules ─────
── All public communications across all platforms involving the Nemeion group must be conducted in the English language. This includes, but is not limited to: Deviantart submissions, literature works, Discord discussions, etc. Using English allows administrators to properly moderate conversations/submissions and ensure all rules are being followed.
── Any questions relating to official group processes such as activities, holidays, corrections, etc, should be posted in the appropriate discord server channels. Do not message admins via direct message (DM) questions relating to group processes.
── Players are permitted to link one (1) alternate account for use in Nemeion. In order for an account to be officially recognized as your alternate, it is required to be listed in the Vault, and registered on all imports alongside the primary account.
── When linking an alternate account to your vault, players must specify which account is considered the "primary" account. The primary account name will be required to be listed in all comments originating from the alternate account to prevent confusion.
── Any posts made to target, threaten or otherwise grief another player can, and will result, in suspension or banishment depending on the severity of the issue. This is largely contextual, but please remember that Nemeion strives to maintain a PG-13 space.
── Harassing admins or other players for Nemeions, currency, items, or anything else involving the group is strictly prohibited. Disciplinary actions taken will be dependent on each individual situation that occurs.
── Hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, trans-phobic remarks, etc are grounds for an immediate banishment from the group.

───── Buying / Selling / Ownership Rules ─────
── Player-to-Player payments including any kind of real-world currency are executed at your own risk. The group will not involve itself in disputes through Paypal, Lavatop, Cashapp, Venmo, personal banks, etc.
── It is strongly advised that you screenshot details of arrangements you make for your own record keeping; they can be extremely helpful in the event of a deal gone awry. The group will only work to resolve issues in which there is definitive proof of a rule break or other problem.
── Co-ownership is not allowed. A lion may only be owned by one player at a time, and the owner must list their alternate account in the ownership section as well (limit 1 alt. account per player)
── Any imports or genos that have been sold by the group may not be resold for USD or in-game currencies/items that are higher in value than the original price paid until the cat has been uploaded and has reached Rank 1.
── Any imports or genos that have been raffled off or gifted for free by the group may not be resold by any means until the cat has been uploaded and has reached Rank 1. They may be returned to the group, gifted to another player, or raffled off prior to Rank 1 as long as the raffle is free to enter.
── It is the seller’s responsibility to notify a new owner of any pre-existing agreements, including but not limited to the sale of slots or ongoing leases.
── The group will not enforce any player-to-player rules that come with the purchase of a player cat, ie. name changes, design changes, breeding restrictions, etc. If you intend to require these changes or restrictions, they should be completed prior to the ownership transfer.
── For serious issues, the group's reaction will vary depending on severity. The group will not involve itself in personal disputes (i.e. harassment via DM, blocking, or things of that nature) unless it directly involves the group in some way.

───── Player Artwork & Literature Rules ─────
── AI Generated artwork or literature is strictly prohibited in all areas of the game.
── Tracing, copying, or claiming another artist’s work as your own is strictly prohibited.
── You may not use official group assets in any part of your artwork or literature. This includes, but is not limited to, official group asset art/lit for items, backgrounds, import designs, and lineart.
── Mature artwork and literature is allowed, however it must include proper maturity filters. Depictions of sexual acts or nudity are not allowed. Nemeion is rated PG-13.
── Any references used in the creation of your artwork must be properly credited in the description of your piece. These credits are required to be the original source where the owner explicitly allows for them to be referenced in their terms of service.
── Photobashing is not accepted at this time and will be rejected. This includes Import Bashing, or the use of import design in an artwork by making it fit into the piece / linework instead of hand coloring the Nemeion.
── Free lines and premade artwork cannot be used in group related activities (adventures, holidays, etc) where you are required to create artwork or literature for your entry. They are permitted for personal art and EXP.
── All group related activity entries must be unique. Any piece that is found to have re-used or recycled elements will be rejected. This includes heavy use of unaltered premade brushes.
── All Art and Literature must be posted to DeviantArt in order to be rolled for any Adventure, Colosseum Battle, Conquest or Holiday.
── By submitting artwork to the Nemeion group gallery on DeviantArt, you grant the group permission to feature and showcase your work across both the deviantart group and the Nemeion website. This permission may be revoked at any time by notifying Nemeion administration. Please note that if your artwork is used, it is always done in good faith and with appreciation for your contribution, never with malicious intent. We love sharing everyone's work!
── Breaking any of the priorly mentioned rules will result in escalating discipline, up to and including banishment due to repeated abuse.

── You may not use design elements or decorations made by other players on your own Nemeion designs without their written permission.
── You may re-use your own design elements and decorations on multiple designs at your own discretion.
── Premade markings are not permitted. Markings cannot be reused between designs. This includes pattern brushes being used for rosettes or stripes.
── Designs should not be completely identical. In the instance of twins, each Nemeion must have at least one distinguishing feature to tell them apart. Colors do not count as a distinguishing feature.
── Designs are not permitted to reference controversial people, display heavy use of NSFW, or display discriminatory/political/religious/controversial topics(ie. Hitler cat, Swasticas, Genitalia, etc).

── Do not block official admin accounts. Doing so forfeits your ability to play the game whether it be activities, breeding, holidays, etc. including transferring items or Nemeion to other players.
── Do not edit your comment once it has been posted to an official journal. This includes but is not limited to: editing your purchase comment with more items in sales, or editing activity redeem comment to max out your forms.
── Do not post a submission to an official journal if it relies on another section of the group getting cleared. This includes but is not limited to: submitting to a thread that relies on an item in activity redeems being deposited, or submitting to adventures with traits/ranks listed that have not yet been applied.
── Do not reply to admin comments on official journals that do not warrant a response (Ex. Vault Activity Redeems, Offerings Thread, Adventure Submissions, etc). Any questions/concerns regarding correction comments should be addressed through the Discord Ticket System.
── Do not post replies to admin comments in activity trackers (Ex. Do not reply to a roll result with “logged” or “submitted to Vault”).
── Do not reply to admin comments on breeding threads discussing how to split a litter, or to mark that genos have been “offered to the caesar”.
── Litter splits should be discussed via DMs, and only one comment should be posted detailing the split.
── Do not like official comments from the admins or the official Nemeion Admin Accounts. The more members we have that do this, it creates spam, as it potentially will drown out important notifications on their accounts.

── There are 4 Levels of responses that will be given to anyone found to be breaking rules:
1. Gentle Bonk: Small rule breaks will receive a “bonk”, or reminder, from an Admin. There is no punishment at this level for first time offenses. However, players who receive excessive bonks having to do with the same rule break will be made note of, and it could turn into a Warning.
2. Warning: These are officially logged reports of rule breaks. You will receive a message from an official Nemeion Admin Account (NemeionAdmin / NemConsul) with a warning about the rule break.
── A player’s logged Warning will be removed after 30 days without a repeat offense.
3. Suspension: After 3 Warnings from an official Nemeion Admin Account, you will receive a suspension. This will restrict you from the section, or multiple sections, of the game that you have broken rules in for a period of time that will be specified. The length of the suspension will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
4. Ban: Bans will be handed out on a case-by-case basis. Excessive suspensions can lead to a permanent ban if you have been determined to be a perpetual nuisance. This is a complete removal from the game, meaning:
── You will no longer be able to partake in any sections of the game.
── Your Nemeion will be marked deceased (imports & genos alike).
── Your Vault will be erased.
── Any slot permissions written to your account will be voided and returned to the owners.
── Notable offenses that will always have a pre-determined suspension timer:
── AI Usage (Art or Lit) = 3 Month Suspension

── Official Nemeion Assets (Imports, Item Art, etc) may only be posted to DeviantArt by the official Nemeion Admin Accounts (NemeionAdmin / NemConsul).
── The group retains the right to edit or discontinue any prior, current, or future information, game play mechanics, and rules at all times.
── All uploaded characters within the group belong partially to the group itself unless the listed owner chooses to decease the character permanently.
── Any claim of ownership on an uploaded character is dissolved 48 hours after banishment from the group.
── The group does not take responsibility for any transactions made between members of the group with non-fictional currency, and with regards to trades and in-game currency, will only resolve conflicts that offer sufficient proof of relevant conversations.
── Joining and participating in Nemeion is at each player’s discretion and is a privilege, not a right. The group reserves the right to banish players it has determined have broken the rules, whether temporarily or permanently, according to the outlined discipline system.
── Nemeion reserves the right to enact periods of inactivity, including shutting down activities, extra features, breeding, and any other section of the game as needed for maintenance, updating, etc.
