All Nemeion Custom Imports are created by Admins through personal time, emotional effort, and creative labor. These imports are not treated the same as regular player designs and are protected under the following rules. By owning or receiving a Custom Import, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Custom imports that fall under these rules include Holiday Ferals, Advent Designs, pre-made Gacha Adoptables, and Wild Ferals.
───── Why Custom Import Editing Is Restricted ─────
All Nemeion Custom Imports are created by Admins and guest artists through personal time, emotional effort, and creative labor. They are carefully planned, constructed, and balanced for the world, the traits, and the player receiving them. Because of this, unauthorized edits, redesigns, or “improved versions” of Custom Imports are not just rule violations, they are emotionally harmful and deeply disrespectful to the artist and designer who created them.
When a Custom Import is edited without permission, it sends the message that:
── The original work was not good enough
── The Admin’s time and effort were disposable
── The design was only a “base” to be fixed
These rules exist not only to protect lore and trait integrity, but also to honor the time, care, and creativity the Admin team puts into every Custom Import. Respect for staff work helps keep Nemeion a positive and collaborative space for everyone.
When a Custom Import is edited without permission, it sends the message that:

Players Cannot:
── Remake their Custom Import with a Mask of Rebirth
── Change markings, anatomy, or fur variant visuals
── Create an “alternate version” meant to replace the original
── Add markings, mutations, or blessings to their Custom Import
── Add visual armor to Custom Imports
── Remove tusks or fangs that are present on their Custom Import, even with Ivory Extractors
── Remake their Custom Import with a Mask of Rebirth
── Change markings, anatomy, or fur variant visuals
── Create an “alternate version” meant to replace the original
── Add markings, mutations, or blessings to their Custom Import
── Add visual armor to Custom Imports
── Remove tusks or fangs that are present on their Custom Import, even with Ivory Extractors
Players Can:
── Add halos beneath the design provided they are subtle
── Add scars provided they do not drastically alter the design
── Add small accessories provided they do not obscure the design
── Modify Manes and Tails with an Ivory Comb provided they have not already been altered.
── Change the expression with Mask of the Forlorn provided the expression has not already been edited.
── Change the background to any free or exclusive background. However, keep in mind that you will not be able to re-use a feral background if you move your Nemeion to another one.

If a player wants to make a larger accessory change to a Custom Import, they must request it through the Nemeion staff. However, please keep in mind that approval is not always guaranteed. As a rule of thumb, it is best to assume that your Custom Import must be left as is.
