Ghosts and wicked shades have slipped free of the Underworld during the Carnival of Souls, haunting the streets of Athens and sowing panic among its citizens. Lanterns flicker, doors slam, and unearthly laughter echoes through the night as these restless creatures run wild. To restore order, Zeus himself has armed you with strange divine tools. The sky above Athens splits with a jagged flash of lightning, and thunder shakes the earth like the laughter of a god. From the storm’s heart, gifts rain down — not weapons of war, but tools of divine mischief. Nets spun from lightning coil neatly at your paws, urns painted in glowing wards roll to a stop at your feet, and lanterns alight with dawn’s fire hover in the air before settling gently into your grasp. Each item hums with Zeus’ power, crackling, pulsing, alive with storm-born might. His booming voice carries on the thunder: “Who you gonna call when the dead won’t stay dead? ME, of course! Now take these tools and show those haints that Olympus doesn’t fear a few rattling chains!” Requirements: Depict your Nemeion catching spooky spirits in the city or the carnival midway. Are they skilled hunters corralling shades with ease, or are the ghosts giving them a slippery chase? Perhaps your Nemeion improvises, tricking the spirits into traps, or maybe they cause just as much mischief as the haints themselves. |
