Blessings and Curses are an assortment of unique items and traits that can be applied to any Nemeion. They are considered fairly rare, and can usually only be obtained through Events, random-chance breedings, or by giving offerings to various lore figures in the offering thread.

These blessings often come in the form of extraordinary miracles, such as health, strength, and beauty. The gods may bestow enchanted appendages, prophetic dreams, or even immortality for the most cherished mortals. Yet, divine blessings are rarely given without expectation; they are often rewards for devotion and heroism, carrying both honor and the weight of the gods’ watchful gaze.

Sometimes the Gods choose to punish their followers with both creativity and severity, often reflecting the nature of the offense. Divine retribution can come in the form of physical torment, such as plagues, storms, or transformation into beasts or stone. The gods may also inflict emotional suffering, cursing mortals with unrequited love, madness, or tragic fates. Each punishment serves as a reminder of the gods’ authority and the consequences of hubris.
