When your lion has been accepted and uploaded to the group’s roster, participating in Adventures is one of the ways you can get started in the group. Beast Hunting, Expeditions, Fishing, Foraging, Caving, and Crusades are activities that allow you to earn in-game rewards that can be redeemed for coins, exchanged for unique items, or applied to your lion through artwork or literature entries. These activities don’t have a time limit; any lion can participate in them.

───── General Guidelines ─────
── Members may only submit two (2) entries daily.
── Up to three (3) lions can participate in one activity entry at a time, with a possible fourth (4) lion IF they have the Party Leader Trait.
── All entries must have an activity form filled out in the description of the submission.
── All activity entries must be deviantart submissions unless otherwise agreed upon with the admin team. Sta.sh files are not acceptable forms of activity submission.
── Trackers should have links to the appropriate activity sections in the journal. If links are not provided, admins are allowed to drop activity rewards at the top of the journal.
── All entries must be unique. You cannot reuse previous backgrounds or large portions of text from prior submissions. You may re-use borders or other shapes, however all elements must be completely unique.
── Entries may include multiple parts or be diptych style. If you choose to do diptych style, a maximum of two panels that are clearly separated is the maximum allowed.
───── Artwork Guidelines ─────
── Entries must be at least 500 x 500 pixels or larger
── All Nemeion depicted in each activity image must be at least 80% visible. We are flexible with composition and perspective, as long as we can tell each Nemeion apart.
── Regardless of the art medium, all lions depicted in the entry must present with all markings. Black and white images and traditional art is also allowed as long as we can tell each Nemeion apart.
── All activity images must include a background of either basic or complex variety. Strip images, or images that use one long background that is split into different pieces, should be visually unique so as to not appear re-used.
── Lions present in the entry must not be so small that they are difficult to see or it is challenging to fit in all of their markings.
── We do not discriminate or reject artwork styles. Most art entries will pass as long as your entries are not extremely rushed or extremely low quality (when compared to the rest of your gallery).
───── Simple vs. Complex Backgrounds ─────
Elements have been highlighted in white
Element Categories
All backgrounds should contain 3 - 4 unique element categories. Element categories are objects like rocks, trees, flowers, bushes, bones, etc. In order for an image to pass, three different categories must be included. Making an image comprised entirely of rocks or entirely of trees does not count. However, including an image with trees, rocks, and multiple flowers would pass. Prey animals and fish do not count as elements in their applicable activities, as they are a requirement.
Simple Backgrounds
Simple backgrounds have 3 to 4 unique element categories with minimal to no shading. They are usually flat with very little visual depth. Simple backgrounds usually only have a small color palette, as seen in the images below.
Complex Backgrounds
Complex backgrounds have 3 to 4 unique element categories with shading. These backgrounds have a lot of visual depth, and look like a lot more time was taken to create them. Below are a few examples of what a complex background should look like.
───── Literature Guidelines ─────
── Entries must contain 900 words minimum and mention all participating lions fluidly throughout the entry.
── Literature entries must be relevant to the activity being engaged in and lions must be focused on their task. Please be especially mindful of this in long literature entries with multiple parts, as each submission is gauged separately.
── For literature role-plays and collaborations: Each player must write 700 words minimum (1400 words total), the submission must be split into paragraphs crediting each participant. Every paragraph must be labelled with each player's username.
── AI generated literature or literature that has been edited with an AI program (such as grammarly) is not allowed. Any literature found to be AI generated in any capacity will be rejected from the group. Repeated attempts to use AI generated literature can and will result in a suspension.
───── Getting Started ─────
── Create a Tracking Journal
[ Example WIP ]
Before participating in activities, you must create a journal or sta.sh file for admins to log your activity rewards. You may have a tracker for each of your lions or one tracker to account for all of your lions, but a tracker is required in order to engage in activities. Please refer to this page for details on how to create an acceptable tracker for the group.
── Create a Player Vault
The Player Vault or Great Vault is where your rewards from activity submissions will be stored after redeeming. While a Player Vault is necessary for gameplay, creating one prior to activities is optional. Upon redeeming activity rewards for the first time, an admin will create a Player Vault for you if you do not already have one. Please refer to the Vault Hub to submit a request to create a Player Vault for your account.
── Review Activity Rules
Nemeion has specific art and literature requirements for an entry to qualify as an activity submission. Please read the requirements listed in Rules & Guidelines tab to get a full understanding of Nemeion’s activity system and have your entries approved.
── Create an Entry
Create an entry, either in the form of art or literature, that follows the requirements necessary for your chosen activity. Fishing should be near a body of water, Foraging should include foliage or sources of food, Beast Hunting should be focused on hunting a specific beast, etc.
── Upload Your Entry
Once you have completed an activity entry, upload it and submit it to the Adventure journal, where it will be reviewed by an admin. Rewards will be posted on your included tracker, and the admin will then mark your entry as rolled!
