───── How is Pay Calculated? ─────
Base Effort
The base effort expected of an admin is meeting the minimum 1 quota point (100% effort) each week. If your area is slow or empty, you may report that your area is empty in the Admin Duties section of the discord and you will receive 1 quota point for that week, even if your available work did not total to 1. You only need to report once if your area is empty. All Admins, regardless of their areas, can achieve base effort simply by reporting and/or meeting the minimum quota of 1 point each week!
Admin Points Tracker
Each section of the Admin Points Tracker has a percent value assigned to it based either on hours worked OR per each comment processed; 1 quota point is equivalent to 100 percent (100%) effort, and each quota point is equivalent to 10 admin points, all of which are added up across all of your logged work and calculated automatically at the far right end of the tracker. Every admin is provided their own rows for each day of the week where they should log their daily work. If the section you are working on is empty, please leave the corresponding box for that day blank and report it in the Admin Duties channel.
Assisting Other Sections
Most admins are assigned specific areas that they are responsible for. While helping outside of your area is fine, be sure that you are appropriately trained for the area you intend to assist in, and ensure that the admin(s) who normally oversee that area are alright with you assisting! Some areas of the group require detailed, technical knowledge of game systems that can only be learned through extensive training. That said, if you're interested in earning extra points and the oportunity to work in another area is available and approved, you are welcome to do so!
How Pay is Handled
Every week a Senate member will go through the Admin Duties channel and Admin Points Tracker to confirm everyone's weekly quota and Admin Points earned. The Admin Points Tracker spreadsheet tallies up your total pay for each week, which is then added to the Admin Point page. Not working every day has no negative impact beyond not contributing to quota for that particular day unless your section is noted as empty for that week in the Admin Duties channel. Admins are not required to work daily, and are only expected to process their sections a few times per week to meet the minimum quota as shown on the Admin Points Spreadsheet. Points are not revoked unless it is determined that reported work was not true, and they are permanent until used to purchase from the Admin Point store. Admin points may be transferred between admins if desired, and you are welcome to purchase things for other admins if you so desire! Admin points may not be used to directly purchase things for non-admin players. If you wish to purchase things for non-admin players, you will need to follow the standard in-game steps to transfer your purchase after it has been made under your name.
